Fall Gatherings continues...

Fall Gatherings at Kendra's is still in full swing! Stop in and see all the one of a kind fall prim items. Spooky pumpkins, grungy table runners and signs are just a few of the great items you will find as you stroll through the store!

Don't forget to sign up to pick your choice of prim from the door prize basket!

If you stop in on Halloween there will be plenty of trick or treats to go around. Cindy and I will also be dressed up for the celebration!

The long dog days of summer have passed us by once again and on September 22 we will welcome the first day of Autumn. Cool, crisp autumn brings a great season for harvest decorating! Stop on in and see all the prim fall items we have brought in, from witchy brooms to waxed corn cobs! You never know what you'll stumble upon!

What a wonderful day at the store! I want to thank the two fun women that stopped in today from Mukwonago, WI. They were so fun and enjoyable. True prim lovers!

On my days off I will be making more black prim dinner candles, chicken feeders with goodies inside and much needed fall items. I can't get over all the fall items that have sold in the last 2 weeks. Until Wednesday...

Strawberry Nut Salad

2 small pkgs. strawberry gelatin
1 cup boiling water

2 cups sliced berries

1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained

3 bananas, mashed

1 cup chopped nuts

1 pint sour cream

Combine gelatin with boiling water, stirring until dissolved. Fold in fruit and nuts. Turn 1/2 mixture into a 12x8x2 inch baking dish. Chill until firm. Spread sour cream over firm gelatin. Spoon remaining gelatin mixture over cream. Refrigerate, slice into squares. Makes 12 servings.

Hidden Treasures Visitor's Guide

Forgive me for not writting in awhile, but life has been just crazy busy!

I've been getting the store ready for fall and I think it turned out very nice! I've also been taking lots of pictures. So as soon as my daughter (15) shows me how to upload the photos without taking them off of my camera I'll get them on for you to enjoy right away. Technology and teens, thank goodness for both of them!

My family and I just returned from a nice vacation up north to Hayward, WI. A vacation just wouldn't be a proper one if there wasn't any shopping involved. So that's exactly what I did! I visited many great stores and came back with some awesome new treasures for the store. This pew bench isn't one of them but I just had to share it with you. As you can see it is black and measures 32" wide. It has great detail and a wooden cross on each end. It is perfect for any prim room! $125.00

It's that time of year again...

Fall may not be in the air, but it sure is on your minds! I have had a lot of customers in the store lately who have been asking me to decorate for fall! Your wish is my command~ August 26th the sunflowers will be picked, the pumpkins will be ready to greet you with a warm welcome and Mr. Henry Banks (the scarecrow) will surely make you smile!

Rag Rugs Galore!

Nothings says country like a home made rag rug. To welcome your guests, warm your feet at the stove, or to simply soften any area in your home. I have many colors, lengths and sizes to choose from and the prices are great!

A Decorating Tip From Kendra!

The mudroom is one of the home's busiest spots. It's where you plop down your groceries, keys, and the cell phone; hang up your jacket, kick off you shoes, and put your work day worries aside. So why not make this room inviting by decorating it with style! Use a large aged wicker basket as a catch all, hang a primitive sign or two, even toss down some great old rag rugs.
